Neuseelandtagebuch
We finally make it to the South Island for a fantastic long weekend in Golden Bay, and I also fly to Arrowtown. It's Christmas party time again, there's some stuff happening, and it still rains and is cold and miserable.
Where we admit that we don't enjoy maintaining an old house, so we sell it in the midst of a crazy market and crazy weather that brings floods and land slips. While we're at it we also sell the car to join Wellingtons Kamikaze-pedestrians. The Maori Queen passes away and I think spring might be coming (which later turns out to be a lie).
My fingers are finally defrosted enough for me to update my blog. Winter is cold and wet and miserable. Thankfully I get a break when I go to Germany to visit my family and watch some soccer. Back here, people are happy and watch the rugby. It's still cold and wet and miserable.
Daylight saving time is too short here but we have some crazy fruit in New Zealand. I have some more stats, and talk about energy.
Kids these days aren't what they used to be. Our coins aren't what they used to be. The government holds a census. And then there's a wedding. Our wedding. Yay! We get married.
